1. Data we collect
- Account and order data — name, email, shipping and billing address, phone, order history.
- B2B application data — company name, registration number, website, declared volumes and intended use.
- Payment data — processed by our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser, device and pages visited, via cookies and analytics.
2. Why we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, and to issue certificates of analysis.
- To verify B2B applications and apply role-based pricing.
- To send transactional email: confirmations, dispatch, subscription renewals, payment failures.
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
- With your consent only: marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time.
3. Sharing
We share data with payment processors, carriers and IT providers strictly to fulfil your order, and with authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
4. Retention
Order and invoice records are retained for the period required by tax law. Account data is retained while your account is active. B2B verification records are retained for the life of the account plus the statutory period.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request portability. Deletion may be limited where we must retain records by law. Write to privacy@argentresearch.com.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for cart and checkout, and analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing the ability to order.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS. Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it. We keep backups and monitor for unauthorised access, but no transmission over the internet is entirely risk-free.
